Karolina Muchova should attempt to imitate former world No. 1 Ashleigh Barty when she faces Iga Swiatek in the 2023 French Open final, according to Barbara Schett.
Muchova should watch the matches Barty played against Swiatek, according to the former world No. 7, who said that the Australian gave the Pole “heaps of problems.”
Barty, a three-time Grand Slam champion who retired last year, defeated Swiatek twice in straight sets.
On Saturday, the Roland Garros final will see Muchova and Swiatek competing in just their second professional encounter. The previous match was won by the Czech in three sets in Prague more than four years ago.
