Alex Corretja thinks Casper Ruud “has his chance” to defeat Novak Djokovic and capture his first Grand Slam championship at the 2023 French Open.

The former world No. 2 believes that Roland Garros’ clay is the ideal surface on which to take on the famous Serb in a big tournament final.

Together with Rafael Nadal, Djokovic holds the men’s record with 22 Grand Slam singles victories. Ten times at the Australian Open, seven times at Wimbledon, three times at the US Open, and twice at the French Open has he won.

After making it to the finals of the US Open and Roland Garros in 2022, Casper Ruud will be participating in his third major title match.
