Iga Swiatek beat Karolina Muchova in the Roland Garros final to win her fourth Grand Slam championship, and she has been predicted to win at least six more. However, she still faces one “big challenge” that she must conquer.
The 22-year-old had to work hard to win her third clay-court major on Saturday as Muchova, a first-time Slam finalist, put up an amazing fightback after twice falling down in the last set.
But Swiatek triumphed, winning 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, becoming the youngest person to win four Grand Slams since Serena Williams. She is also the first female since Justine Henin, who won four straight matches starting in 2005, to successfully defend her championship.
